About nonogram grid
Nonograms — also called Picross or griddlers — are picture logic puzzles solved on a square grid from number clues along the edges. This sheet gives you the play grid with bold lines every five cells, plus margins across the top and down the left for writing the row and column clues, so you can design or solve puzzles by hand.
In a nonogram the numbers along each row and column tell you the runs of filled cells in order, and the puzzle is to work out which cells are shaded from those clues alone. This sheet gives you the square play grid with bold lines every five cells — the standard divisions that make counting runs easier — and blank margins along the top and left for writing the clues.
Use it both ways: design your own picture by shading cells and reading off the clues, or copy a set of clues in and solve by hand. Larger grids hold more detailed pictures; smaller ones are quicker to set and solve.

Common questions
What are the margins for?
The strip across the top is for the column clues and the strip down the left is for the row clues — the numbers that say how many cells are filled in each line.
Why are some lines bolder?
The heavier lines break the grid into five-by-five blocks, which is the usual nonogram convention and makes it much easier to count long runs and keep your place.
